BringShare simplifies performance metrics, enhances marketers’ resources, bottom line
09.12.2011– SANTA CLARA, CA (DEMO Fall Conference)—Sept. 13, 2011—Co-founders of BringShare today announced the public beta launch of its online tool of the same name that is designed to help marketing professionals, entrepreneurs and their businesses measure and evaluate their online marketing investments more efficiently and cost effectively. The announcement was made at the DEMO conference, which is known throughout the tech community as the launchpad of emerging technology.
BringShare allows its users to connect all of their accounts and gather data across common online marketing platforms including paid search platforms, software, social networks, email tools and search engines. It automatically takes the data and puts it into one easy-to-comprehend picture (or dashboard) so comparisons can be made about which initiatives are working best, which ones need to be modified, and which efforts aren’t paying off.
“We’re taking the aggregation of marketing data a significant step further to provide greater value to marketing professionals,” said Justin Spring, co-founder of the Columbus, Ohio-based company. “BringShare actually mashes data together and presents it in a way that makes it easier for businesses to make smarter decisions about their online marketing that drive leads to sales, and ultimately bring more market share. That’s what makes BringShare unique.”
According to Spring, marketing professionals spend anywhere from 20 to 40 hours a month on reporting and tracking functions, whereas BringShare produces custom reports in a matter of minutes. The online tool was created by marketers with a keen understanding of which data reports are critical and how to present them. Spring and co-founder Danielle Walton both worked in corporate marketing departments before becoming entrepreneurs and developing BringShare based on market research as well as professional experience.
BringShare was built with small companies in mind, but the founders believe it will have applications for larger businesses as the product evolves. Currently, the online tool focuses on filling a void for small businesses by providing a smarter, faster and more cost-effective way to evaluate online marketing efforts, and at three different price points: Starter ($49/month), which offers a two dashboard view; Complete ($99/month), which features six dashboards with Custom Report Builder; and Premium ($199), which also includes six dashboards along with Custom Report Builder, and premium support and tracking services.
BringShare has already caught the attention of the technology community as well as investors. It has raised $1 million in Series A funding to help make BringShare a reality. BringShare is the first Ohio company invited to present at the nearly 20-year-old DEMO conference, the world’s leading launch conference for emerging technologies.
“As an email marketing leader, iContact is pleased to partner with BringShare to deliver a complete and robust set of tracking metrics to our joint customers,” said Geoff Alexander, director of product marketing, iContact. “iContact is fully integrated with BringShare, enabling small- and medium-sized businesses to grow and succeed by easily tracking conversions from their email marketing.”
